SU Men’s Lacrosse Stays at Number 11 in USILA Poll
PERRY, N.Y. – The Salisbury University men’s lacrosse team held steady in the recent United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association coaches’ poll at number 11 on Monday.
The 8-3 Sea Gulls notched two Capital Athletic Conference wins during the week, against Wesley College on Wednesday and Southern Virginia University on Saturday.
The Sea Gulls finished the week’s poll with 178 points, with Franklin and Marshall College ahead at number 10 with 193.
Division III men’s lacrosse is lead by Rochester Institute of Technology, who earned all 21 first-place votes and 400 points. York College of Pennsylvania followed RIT with 378 points for number two, while Tufts University came in third with 337. Wesleyan University of Connecticut finished fourth with 307 points, and Cabrini University ranked fifth with 305.
Salisbury’s CAC opponent Christopher Newport University dropped in the poll two spots to number 17.
