Baltimore, MD – Delaware returns 18 starters from last season’s 2015 football squad. That does not impress the head coaches and media relations directors of their fellow CAA schools. The Blues Hens are predicted to finish in seventh place in the conference. Richmond, who advanced to last season’s FCS semifinals is picked to win the CAA.
The Hens did receive some recognition when it came time to announce the preseason All-CAA team. Offensive Lineman Connor Bozick and Linebacker Charles Bell earned first team honors.
Head Coach Dave Brock enters his fourth season at Delaware. With the number of starters returning and the addition of Penn State Linebacker transfer Troy Reeder, this is considered a pivotal year in which the Blue Hens look to end a six year playoff drought.
