The Cape Henlopen field hockey team survived a tough game with Tower Hill, 2-1 in the Delaware State Semifinals.
Reigning state player of the year Tess Bernheimer scored both goals for the Vikings.
Winners of four straight state championships, Cape Henlopen is now only one more win away from adding to their trophy case.
The Vikings will face the winner of the Delmar/Wilmington Christian game on Saturday in the state championship game. It will be held at the University of Delaware beginning at 2:00 p.m.
