Dover, DE – The 2017 Delaware State football team will be on the field throughout the next three weeks for spring camp. The Hornets will conduct 15 spring practice sessions, culminating with the Red/White scrimmage on Apr. 8 at Alumni Stadium.
Kenny Carter, in his third year as head coach of the Hornets, believes many of the young players forced into action last season are ready to take the next step in their development this spring.
“Our young guys gained valuable experience last year and have put in the work during the off-season to give us hope as we move forward,” Carter said. “This year’s spring camp is a good chance to see how much progress we’ve made and gives the players an opportunity to set themselves apart.”
