Berlin’s Devin Dodson is a young man with a NASCAR dream. He spent the summer racing in the K & N West Pro Series, the equivalent of minor league baseball. The East version holds a race this Friday at Dover International Speedway and Dodson worked it out with his sponsor Green Energy Construction and Consulting to compete at the track in his home region.
“Ever since I was little, I was going there and watching all the NASCAR events,” Dodson said.
The Monster Mile will be the longest track he has raced and his first on concrete. Dodson competed in four races out west finishing in the top ten three times.
