Individually, this past season Kory Holden established himself as one of the best basketball players in the Colonial Athletic Association. Unfortunately, the team he played for, the University of Delaware, was one of that conference’s worst teams. On Monday, the James M. Bennett alum confirmed to WBOC Sports that he is leaving the Blue Hens.
“I have no clue at all where I’m going,” Holden told WBOC. “I’m going to take my time with the decision.”
When asked why he is leaving Holden only said, “It’s a something that I will benefit from.”
In his second year with Delaware Holden averaged 17.7 points per game. The Blue Hens were just 7-23 overall and 2-16 in the CAA.
