PRINCESS ANNE, MD — After a week away from Princess Anne, the Maryland Eastern Shore baseball team returns home for a midweek contest against the U.S. Naval Academy at 3 p.m.
This will be the second meeting between the Hawks and the Midshipmen. Back on March 8th, Navy put on an offensive clinic and won the matchup 17-5 in Annapolis. The Midshipmen have won the past six meetings, with the Hawks last meeting on February 21, 2015.
When the teams first met, Maryland Eastern Shore had dropped its first nine games of the season. They have since turned things around, winning four of the last seven and forcing a three way tie for second place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference’s (MEAC) Northern Division.
