At best the Redskins will match 2015’s win total of nine. A year ago it was good enough to win the NFC East. In 2016, there has not been a great deal of overall improvement while the Cowboys and Giants have raced past Washington in the standings.
Still, if the Redskins win their final two games and get a little help, they could make a return trip to the playoffs. It starts Saturday in Chicago against the 3-11 Bears.
