Salisbury Falls To Number 24 In Latest Division III Poll
MINNEAPOLIS – The Salisbury University men’s basketball team stands as the No. 24 team in the nation in the latest D3hoops.com poll, released this week.
Salisbury went 1-1 last week, topping Southern Virginia University while falling at the University of Mary Washington, earning 80 points in this week’s poll, seven points ahead of No. 25 Wittenberg College.
The Sea Gulls are joined in the top 25 from the Capital Athletic Conference by Christopher Newport University, which is up three spots this week to No. 18, with 163 points.
Salisbury and Christopher Newport are each part of a five-way tie atop the CAC standings, each with 3-1 conference records.
The Sea Gulls are back in action on Wednesday, January 16, hosting York College of Pennsylvania in CAC action. That game, being played at Maggs Physical Activities Center, is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.
