Skin Cancer Surgery For Dover Winner Johnson
A day after winning his 11th NASCAR Cup race at the Dover International Speedway, Jimmie Johnson underwent skin cancer surgery.
Johnson informed the public via twitter that he was having “a Basal Cell Carcinoma cut out of my shoulder.”

Johnson is well on his way to winning a NASCAR record eighth championship. The driver of the #48 car has three wins this season. NASCAR heads to Pocono Raceway for the Pocono 400. Johnson has three wins at the track known as the “Tricky Triangle.”
