SU Men’s Lacrosse Shows Love During Lax for Leukemia Youth Day
It’s going to be a big game, for an even bigger cause.
The annual event kicks off at noon at Sea Gull Stadium with a silent auction during the game and a meet-and- greet afterwards.
Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach, Mike Baggetta, says any youth player that wears their jersey, with a copy of the flyer, found at the bottom of the page, will get into the game for free.
The fundraising efforts have already started for the event online but the silent auction seems to be the big money maker.
“During last year’s silent auction, we raised $6,400 in less than 4 hours. The goal this years is $8,000.”
According to Baggetta, SU played FSU in the conference championship last year.
“They’re good, it’ll be one of our harder games.”
