On Wednesday Salisbury University begins its defense of their status as two-time NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse National Champions. The Sea Gulls (16-3) have won ten in a row and enter the 2018 NCAA Tournament ranked #7 nationally. Salisbury’s only loss in regulation was March 24 at York.
Eight Sea Gulls are playing the final contests of their college career. The senior class has the opportunity to achieve a third straight title. It has occurred one other time in program history (2003, 2004, 2005).
“Hopefully we get a couple of breaks here and there and that we will have an opportunity to be competing a couple of more weeks and that objective becomes a reality,” head coach Jim Berkman said.
