Salisbury – Tonight Orioles pitcher Chris Tillman is expected to start for the Shorebirds against Hagerstown. The appearance will be the latest step in Tillman’s rehabilitation process.
Tillman pitched on Wednesday June 20th for Short-A Aberdeen. He lasted just two innings, in part due to a 35 pitch opening frame. Tillman allowed 3 earned runs on two hits. He has been on the disabled list after pitching less than two innings on May 10th. This season, Tillman was just 1-6 with the Orioles. The lone win, seven innings of work while allowing just one hit on April 27th at Camden Yards against the Tigers.
Tillman was a late off-season free-agent signing. His career record, all with the Orioles, is 74-60.
