Melo Trimble will enter this summer’s NBA Draft. The Maryland junior announced his decision on Wednesday.
“I am confident and excited to pursue an opportunity to play in the NBA,” Trimble said in a statement issued by the school. “I am proud of what my teammates and I were able to accomplish these past three seasons at Maryland. I developed many great relationships and friendships and together we were able to create some very special moments for Maryland basketball.”

Trimble flirted with the NBA last year. He did not hire an agent which allowed him to return to College Park for his junior season. Trimble’s 1,658 career points and 403 assists both rank 13th all time in Terrapin history.
