Torrey Brittingham helped lead Stephen Decatur to the 2016 MPSSAA 3A Championship Game. Last season the Seahawks rode the play of Keve Aluma back to the Final Four. For 2017-18, it’s Kevon Voyles who is being asked to take his team back to College Park in March.
Voyles was the second leading scorer on last season’s Seahawk team that posted a perfect record in the Bayside Conference. His 54 steals heading into the semifinal game were tops on the team.
“He does a lot of things for us, rebound, pass the ball, and score the ball,” head coach BJ Johnson said. “In my opinion he is probably one of the best kids on the shore.”
Earlier in November, Voyles committed to playing college basketball at Maryland Eastern Shore.
