It is with great excitement that we announce the partnership of Mountaire Farms and WBOC-TV in the WBOC/Mountaire Farms Scholar Athlete Award. Each month, this award will recognize a male or female athlete in his/her senior year from one Delmarva High School, who carries a “B” average or higher and participates in at least two varsity school sponsored sports in the calendar year. Nominees need to also be recognized by their coaches for outstanding sportsmanship and perform with superior ability in athletic competition.
