For the second straight season, Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta takes a pay cut to remain with the team. Pitta has agreed to reduce his salary by 2.5 million dollars over the next two seasons.
Prior to the 2016, Pitta agreed to a four million dollar pay cut. He was able to recover three million of that by meeting incentives. Last year Pitta set career highs in receiving yards (729). His 86 catches were the most in the NFL for a tight end.
