The Eagles are scheduled to hold their first full practice of training camp Thursday July 27. To get a head start, quarterback Carson Wentz invited members of the receiving corp to his home state of North Dakota for informal workouts in Fargo.
“Its fun, its kind of an off season thing that everyone does,” Wentz said. “We got almost all of the receivers out here this summer. They all flew in thinking what the heck is this place, what’s going on, but they love it.”
Alshon Jeffrey is one of the new receivers on this year’s team. He is part of group looking to improve the 16 team touchdown catches in 2016, the third worst figure in the NFL.
