Mike Drass, the long time successful football coach at Wesley College, died on Monday in his Dover home of an apparent heart attack. Drass was 57 years old.
He had coached the Wolverines for 25 years achieving a 229-69-1 record including NCAA playoff appearances the past 13 seasons. Drass had shown the ability to get Division III players on NFL rosters. Former quarterback Joe Callahan has two years of NFL experience and is now with the Eagles. Offensive Lineman Matt Gono is with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent.
Drass is survived by his wife Laurie and daughter Molly
